The National Association of Municipal and Provincial Institutes for Lifelong Learning (NAMPIL, South Korea) visits IAEC premises
On 21st June, the IAEC received a delegation of the National Association of Municipal and Provincial Institutes for Lifelong Education including representatives from: Busan, Chungnam, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Gangwon-do, Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongbuk, Incheon, Jeollanam-do, Jeju, Seoul, Sejong and Ulsan.
A delegation from the National Association of Municipal and Provincial Institutes for Lifelong Learning (NAMPIL) visited the International Association of Educating Cities (IAEC) premises on 21 June. The IAEC counts with 24 member cities in South Korea, some of them also members of NAMPIL.
NAMPIL is an association created to further develop lifelong education and promote exchanges between member cities. Their visit to IAEC and other educational premises in Spain and Portugal was organised with the aim of gaining knowledge on new models for lifelong education and sharing best practices.
At the meeting, IAEC General Secretary presented the origins and the structure of the organisation, the Charter, a sample of best practices from different member cities and the benefits of joining the International Association of Educating Cities. After the presentation, there was a fruitful exchange with the visitors.
