The IAEC Latin American exhibition visits Totoras (Argentina)
The IAEC Latin American exhibition “The principles in Action” was presented last April 13th in the Cultural centre La Esquina of Totoras (Argentina).
The opening was presided by the Mayor of Totoras, Mr Horacio Carnevali, and the Director of the IAEC Delegation for Latin America, Ms Laura Alfonso.
Through the exhibition, the Delegation for Latin America proposes examples of the principles of the Charter of Educating Cities in order to encourage local governments to make visible its bet for the education in its broadest sense.
The exhibition is composed by experiences of 17 member cities of the Latin American region (Argentina: Esquel, Godoy Cruz, Pergamino, Rosario, Río Cuarto and Totoras; Brazil: Santiago, Santo André, São Paulo and Vitória; Colombia: Medellín; Costa Rica; San José; Mexico: Colima, Cozumel, Guadalajara and Mexico City; Uruguay: Montevideo). Each experience contends the principle which defines it as well as brief information on the city.
The exhibition will remain in Totoras until April 26th.
