The IAEC at the thematic meeting Habitat III on public space
The IAEC General Secretary, Ms. Marina Canals, defended the educating vector of the local policies on the definition of public spaces on the panel “Agoras: democratization of the culture and education” of the thematic meeting Habitat III on public space which has been held in Barcelona April 4-5.
The IAEC General Secretary shared the Roundtable with representatives of UNESCO, the University of New York, the Public Services International and the Mathare Mother Development Center (Kenya).
The thematic meeting Habitat III on public space is part of the preparation meetings on the elaboration of a New Urban Agenda for a sustainable future which will be agreed on the Habitat III Conference which will take place in Quito (Ecuador) next October 17-20 2016.
