In the framework of the General Assembly, the new IAEC Executive Committee was elected.

The IAEC governing body is now composed by the following cities:

• Brussels,
• Cascais
• Changwon
• Granollers
• Katowice
• León
• Lisboa
• Rosario
• Sevilla
• Tampere.

In addition to this list, the cities of Barcelona, Rennes and Torino are permanent members of the Committee, and Andong and Curitiba are associated members.

São Paulo will take part in the work of the Committee as a guest member.

The new members of the Committee presented their candidature to the Assembly, and the new composition of the governing body was ratified. The new Committee met on 28 October and will resume their work at the next meeting scheduled on 1 March 2023.
