The Educating Cities Award aims to recognise and give international visibility to the work that Educating Cities carry out, as well as to highlight best practices that can inspire other cities.

The Award will be granted to three experiences that  foster education in civic and democratic values,  promote better living together and respect for the planet; as well as initiatives that foster solidarity, a culture of peace, social justice, participation, environmental awareness, and commitment to the common good.

The jury of the 5th edition of the “Educating Cities Award to Bes Practices in Values-Based Education” is composed by 2 experts and the cities of Brussels and Cascais in representation of the IAEC Executive Committee.
