On 4 November, a discussion workshop will be held in collaboration with the UNESCO Learning City network. This valuable moment of exchange will bring together international, national, and local stakeholders to reflect on the pivotal role of Educational Cities in securing the right to a sustainable future for all.

Speakers will include representatives from the UNESCO Learning Cities network, the International Association of Educational Cities (IAEC), and various Turin-based institutions and organizations active in the educational field. The session will be moderated by Pier Giorgio Turi, architect and urban planner of the City of Turin.

On 5 November, following a welcome reception and official greetings from Carlotta Salerno, Councilor for Educational and Youth Policies, participants will visit the Palazzo Civico and take part in a study tour of strategic educational services across the city. This hands-on experience is designed to foster dialogue and the sharing of best practices.

Now in its 4th edition, the Social Festival Comunità Educative transforms Turin into a vibrant hub of ideas and action, featuring debates, workshops, labs, and meetings with leading voices from the world of art, pedagogy, science, and care. The Festival places the development of younger generations at the heart of urban thinking, promoting the transformation of cities through strong partnerships with schools and communities.

The Festival is organized by the Municipality of Turin, the Metropolitan City of Turin, and Iter – Turin Institution for Responsible Education, with the patronage of the University of Turin and scientific direction by Animazione Sociale magazine.
