Annual Meeting of the Italian Network Held in Turin
An essential gathering to reflect and debate on the challenges of education among member cities.
On November 4 and 5, Turin hosted the annual meeting of the Italian Network, with representatives from Bologna, La Spezia, Ravenna, Syracuse, and Turin itself. The event served to strengthen ties between member cities. During the sessions, participants visited several outstanding educational initiatives and services in the city, such as Scuola Centro Civico, Cascina Falchera (Center for Educational and Environmental Sustainability), Centro Giovanile OFF TOPIC, and the Museum of Cinema.
In addition, several key points were agreed upon for the future of the network:
- Establishment of the work calendar for 2026
- Proposals to improve the network’s website, aiming to make it more accessible and dynamic
- Active participation in the 2026 International Congress, where shared experiences and best practices will be presented
Attendees also had the opportunity to meet with Councillor Salerno and her team, and to visit the City Hall.
The meeting was highly valued by participants, who emphasized the importance of these in-person gatherings to foster growth—both individually as cities and collectively as a network.
