San Justo hosts the VIII Meeting of Educating Cities of RACE
Exchange of experiences and study visits marked a day dedicated to educational innovation and urban transformation.
On November 14, the VIII Meeting of the Argentine Network of Educating Cities (RACE) was held in San Justo, a municipality recognized for its commitment to education and lifelong learning. Municipal and provincial representatives, experts, and local actors gathered for a day focused on educational innovation and strengthening the network of cities committed to education as a driver of urban transformation.
After the opening, dialogues on city experiences were held around the main themes of the meeting, facilitating the exchange of innovative policies and good practices aimed at addressing current challenges.
One of the highlights of the Meeting was the study visits to the Municipal Kindergarten “Piccola Luna” and the Tecnoteca, spaces that illustrate how the municipality of San Justo integrates education and innovation into its urban fabric.
In the afternoon, a roundtable on educational innovation took place, followed by the presentation of the XVIII International Congress to be held in Granollers and the Mayors’ Roundtable with the participation of Bell Ville, Ceres, Despeñaderos, Malabrigo, San Justo, and San Vicente. The day concluded with a lecture on “Educating City, Classroom in Action: Innovation as a Pillar of Transformation,” and a concert by the San Justo children and youth orchestra.
