Sant Just Desvern

City of the metropolitan area of Barcelona that lies over a surface of 7,81 km² southeast of the Collserola Mountain range. Due to its proximity to the Catalan capital and its good communications, Sant Just Desvern lived a demographic and industrial boom since the 50s. The city has a historic heritage with remains of different eras since the Neolithic to the Art Nouveau.

Air-raid shelter: Discovering the past, a reflection for the future
The shelter is a testimony to civil resistance that allows us to learn from the past and reflect on the dangers and consequences of armed conflict. Further, it contributes to the creation of a collective identity by discovering and recovering forgotten aspects of local and national history. [...]
