Paterna

© Ayuntamiento de Paterna Town of the region of Valencia (Spain) located 5 km northwest of the city of Valencia. It experienced a large population growth in the second half of the 20th century, and it currently has around 70.000 inhabitants. It preserves an important historical and archaeological heritage, given the roman origins of the city. Its medieval pottery collection is also of note. Its local festivities have been declared Festival of National Tourist Interest. Services and industrial production are the main economic activities in Paterna.
