The municipality covers an area of 396,46 square kilometres and is divided in 8 parishes : Cabril, Dornelas do Zêzere, Fajão - Vidual, Janeiro de Baixo, Pampilhosa da Serra, Pessegueiro, Portela do Fojo – Machio and Unhais-o-Velho.
