Málaga

© Paolo Trabattoni (Flickr) Capital of the province of the same name, Málaga is placed at the Andalusian coast 100km East the Gibraltar Strait. Nowadays, is the sixth Spanish city and the second in Andalusia by number of inhabitants. Malaga is an important economic, touristic and cultural hub and has an important trade and fish port and  an international Airport. Founded by the Phoenicians during the 7th century BC, the city has a rich historical heritage. Along this line, it is worth mentioning the Fortress of the Alcazaba.
