Cordova

© Brad Hammonds (Flickr) Spanish City located inland Andalucía region at the bank of the river Guadalquivir. The city has important traces of its Roman and Arabic past. The more important building and symbol of the City, The Mosque of Córdoba, was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984; declaration that was extended to the rest of the old city in 1994. Other important monuments of the city are, the Roman bridge, the synagogue, the Episcopal Palace, the old Hospital of San Sebastian. Nowadays, the city is a trade, industrial and touristic centre in constant growth.
