Apucarana

Apucarana is a Brazilian municipality located in the center of the state of Paraná. Until the 1970s, coffee farming was the main economic activity. This period has its testimony in the coffee museum, which portrays the history of coffee production in the city. Currently, the cap manufacturing industry stands out, involving numerous companies and workers, as 70% of the caps manufactured in Brazil are produced in Apucarana. It also stands out for having different green areas, the main one being the Lac Jaboti Park, an immense green space where the neighbours live. In an architectural plan, the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de Lourdes (Our Lady of Lourdes) stands out, located in Rui Barbosa Square, which is inspired by the Italian Piazzas.
