Barentin

Barentin is a town located in Normandy, in the Seine-Maritime department. It is located fifteen kilometres from Rouen. Crossed by the tourist valley of the Austreberthe, the common Barentin offers unique landscapes and a very green environment. It has approximately 12,000 inhabitants. Known since the beginning of the 11th century for its economic activities, the city of Barentin was the site of important paper mills. Today, the city is mostly high-tech oriented as well as tourism. Barentin has an important cultural and commercial life. Among its historical heritage, the Aqueduct stands out as well as numerous medieval monuments.
