Segovia

© McPolu (Wikimedia commons) Provincial capital of the Castile León Region. It is located at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, 90 km northeast from the Spanish capital city, Madrid. Segovia is famous for its historical center, which along with its Aqueduct was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Its main economic activities are the industrial and the touristic sector. The city is part of the main route of the Camino de Santiago from Madrid.
