Between rivers and mountains, the Portuguese city of Covilhã is one of the gateways to the Sierra de Estrela. It is made up of five population centers: Covilhã e Canhoso, Teixoso e Sarzedo, Cantar-Galo and Vila do Carvalho, Boidobra and Tortosendo. It stands out for the production of wool and for its important historical heritage.
