Lucena

© Ayuntamiento de Lucena City located at the centre of the Spanish region of Andalucía. The city has olive tree cultivations and vineyards and, as a consequence, derivate industries. Along this line, it is worth mentioning the inclusion of its wines in the Montilla-Moriles Wine Protected Designation of Origin. Known in the past as “the City of 3 Cultures” (Jewish, Muslim and Christian) has a rich historic-artistic heritage. During the Caliphate of Córdoba (9th to 12th centuries) Lucena was the main hub of Jewish population and culture of Al-Andalus.
