Évora

© Câmara Municipal de Évora Évora is the capital of the Portuguese region of Alentejo and has 56,600 inhabitants. It is located 120 km to the east of Lisbon. It is considered a “museum city” thanks to the preservation of the architectural and artistic heritage of each of the civilizations that has inhabited it. Its old town was recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1986.
