Burjassot has to different areas: the Eastern, which has vegetable gardens and irrigation canals; and the western one, which is made up by lime rock hills. As regards its heritage, it is worth mentioning an ensemble of underground grain storages built during the 16^th century so as to store wheat. The economy is based on the services sector and on textile, cement and ceramic industries.
