Changwon City Educational Development Council has launched. The city is working to organize joint effort by recently launching Changwon City Educational Development Council composed of 18 persons including government officials handling educational affairs, city council members, representatives from civil society, and education experts.

Changwon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo emphasized that “Among all so many factors that determine a city’s competitiveness such as business, environment, investment, and housing, the most important one consists in securing excellent human resources, and talented individuals ensure the development of the city and will go from there to propel ‘Changwon’s upgrade to a metropolitan city’.

Meanwhile, Changwon City predicts that the launch of Educational Development Council will create a basis for educational environment that surpasses the parameter of a metropolitan city, thus advancing the realization of ‘Greater Changwon in the New Era of Big Jump’.
