The symposium is organised in two days. The first day (29 November) will focus on the right to an educating city, divided in three parts: culture and participation, lifelong learning and the management of diversity. The second day will be devoted to the collective right to education.
Barcelona will celebrate the International Day with a wide range of activities such as guided tours, theatre plays, workshops of many different topics, with a focus on violence against women.

The celebration of the International Day included the recognition of three local educative institutions: School ‘Arzobispo Morcillo’, Adult Education Center ‘Hermanos Correa’ and the Municipal Workshops for seniors.
